Brighton & Hove Albion winger Femi Azeez has returned to full training and is in contention to make his debut for the club on Sunday against Coventry City.
The 25-year-old Nigeria international missed last weekend's 1-1 draw with Leeds United at the Amex Stadium due to a minor hamstring injury. Manager Fabian Hürzeler said the summer signing is expected to train with the first-team squad this week and could be available for the trip to the Coventry Building Society Arena.
The injury was picked up on the opening day of the Championship season before his move to the Premier League club, which delayed his first appearance for the Seagulls. He had been ruled out of selection for the Leeds fixture as he continued his recovery, while Brighton have also been without several other players including Kaoru Mitoma.
Hürzeler provided the update during his pre-match press conference, stating that Azeez would train with the squad and, if he comes through without any setback, would be an option for the weekend.
