In a brief interview, the Portugal international said: "I apologize to my friends from Sporting, but I want Galatasaray to win. And a victory coming with a goal from Rafa would be magnificent." The match is the first round of the 2026-27 Champions League campaign for both clubs.

Silva, 31, is a Portuguese winger who currently wears number 20 for Galatasaray's women's team. She joined the Turkish club in 2026 after a spell with Al Hilal, having previously won multiple domestic titles with Benfica, including three league titles and the Portuguese Cup.
