Nigerian forward George Ilenikhena provided two assists in Al-Ittihad’s 3-1 victory over Al-Faisaly in the Saudi Pro League on Friday, September 11, 2026. 

The match took place at Al Majma’ah Sports City Stadium. Steven Bergwijn opened the scoring in the 28th minute with an assist from Richard Ríos. Youssef En-Nesyri then scored in the 43rd and 59th minutes, both assisted by Ilenikhena. 

Théo Bongonda scored a late consolation goal for Al-Faisaly in the 87th minute. Ilenikhena was substituted in the 63rd minute.

The result lifted Al-Ittihad to the top of the league table with 17 points from seven matches. Ilenikhena, a 20-year-old striker born in Lagos, now has four goals and two assists in the Saudi Pro League this season.
